Kirsty is the co-owner of CrossFit Thurrock and a coach who truly understands the journey our members go through — because she has lived it herself. Her own fitness journey started from a young age, with years of regular training and a background in dance helping her develop a strong foundation of movement, discipline and body awareness. Over seven years ago, Kirsty joined CrossFit Thurrock as a member. Like many people in our community, she started with her own personal goals and challenges, quickly developing a passion for training, learning and helping others. Her commitment, knowledge and growth naturally led her from member to coach, and eventually to becoming co-owner of CrossFit Thurrock. Today, Kirsty plays a key role in developing our coaching team, creating coach development plans, supporting ongoing education and ensuring our coaches continue to grow their skills and deliver the highest standard of coaching possible. Alongside supporting the coaching team, Kirsty is also heavily involved in the long-term success of our members. She helps monitor member progress, supports goal setting, and ensures people have the guidance, accountability, and direction needed to continue moving forward in their fitness journey. She believes great coaching isn’t just about helping someone achieve their first goal — it’s about helping them continue to evolve and succeed for years to come.

Kirsty also leads our toddler sessions through our sister company, Strong Start Thurrock, where she brings her passion for movement and child development to our youngest members. With the ability to coach everyone from 18 months upwards, she has a unique understanding of how to create positive fitness experiences for every age and ability. Her coaching style is built around encouragement, patience and helping people build confidence. Whether she is introducing a toddler to movement for the first time, helping a teenager develop new skills, or coaching an adult through their fitness journey, Kirsty believes that every person deserves to feel successful and supported. For Kirsty, the most rewarding part of coaching is seeing people grow — not just physically, but in confidence, belief and enjoyment of movement. Coach Kirsty’s goal: To help people of all ages discover a love for fitness, while supporting a coaching team that delivers the best possible experience and results for every member.
